IMPORTANT: It is CRITICAL that your graduate application be absolutely complete. No applications will be forwarded to the School of Music Graduate Committee unless they are complete. When the School of Music Graduate Committee receives your application, there are four areas that are taken into consideration that will affect your admission. These are: 1. Your GPA and transcripts, 2. Your THREE letters of recommendation, 3. Your audition, and 4. Your GRE scores. (If either part of your GRE score is less than 350 for master's or 390 for doctoral, you should consider retaking this exam.) Once the graduate committee has looked at your application, they will determine your admissibility. At that point we will be able to make an offer to you for either a scholarship or an assistantship.
